We have outlined our services below using the RIBA Plan of Work 2020 to describe stage by stage what to expect, alongside a timescale* for each stage.

Client Briefing

Initial Briefing 

Activities: Meetings, calls, and house visits to determine the project brief.

Deliverables: Fee proposal and appointment of RVR Architect.

Concept Design

Month 01

Activities: Measured survey, initial layouts based on brief.

Deliverables: Review meeting for feedback and initial layout adjustments.

Design Development

Month 02

Activities: Refine layouts based on feedback, review and agree on design.

Deliverables: Submission of planning application (approval can take up to 9 weeks).

Technical Design

Months 03-05

Activities: Arrange trial pits if needed, appoint necessary consultants, and finalise party wall agreements (2-12 weeks).

Deliverables: Detailed design, specifications, and contractor shortlist.

Tendering

Month 06

Activities: Issue tender documents, receive contractor pricing (2-4 weeks), value-engineering for cost savings.

Deliverables: Tender analysis and selection of contractor.

Construction

Month 07-16

Activities: Contractor mobilization, construction work, regular site inspections, and monthly valuations.

Deliverables: Practical completion of the project.
